Sunday Social

1. What is your favorite handbag you own?

My Lands End monogramed tote. I got it for my birthday last year and still love it. It fits my laptop, books and knitting. It also works as a weekend bag when I visit my mom for the weekend.

2. 3 things you would buy right now if money was no object?
new macbook pro, Adobe creative suite, and 3 sweaters worth of madeline tosh yarn.

3. Name a place you would go right now if given a plane ticket to anywhere? 
I would either New York City or London. I have so man things I want to to in NYC since my last trip. Though I have always wanted to visit England and London specifically.

4. What is the most valuable life lesson you’ve learned from blogging?
Promote what you love, not diss what you hate. I think this simple idea keeps blogging a positive space and is especially true when it comes to politics and religion.

5. What is the most valuable life lesson you’ve learned from a friend?
Everything happens for a reason.

The Sunday Social: Week 97

Sorry for the unexpected blog hiatus. Some exciting things are in the work that have taken up my blogging time. Back to regularly scheduled programing with this week's Sunday Social. The theme is best things.

1. What was your best birthday?
This is a super hard question. Probabily my 13th birthday because I had an awesome slumber party and a weekend filled with my best friends parties including an all night slumber party.
2. What was your best vacation?
Hands down when I went to flordia with my family. We went to Disney World, Wizarding World of Harry Potter, and on a Disney Cruise. It was our second time going on a disney cruise and it did not disapoint.

3. What is the best date you've ever been on?
Pass
4. What is the best movie (quality) you've seen?
The Fellowship of the Ring, though really all the Lord of the Rings movies including the Hobbit ones.
5. What is the best TV show ending of all time?
The best would probabily be the ending to Dawson's Creek. It was set a few years in the future and answered all the leftover questions. You also get the sense that everyone is grown up and living a great life.

Sunday Social: Week 92

This week's theme on Sunday Social in favorite pins. This has been a surprising hard post to write. It has been like trying to pick my favorite kid.

1. What is your favorite outfit pin?
I love the simplicity of this outfit. It is definitely in outfit I have recreated multiple times and still love.

2. What is your favorite food pin?
This brownies with layers of oreo and chocolate chip cookie looks so yummy. It take three amazing deserts and combines them together into one massive desert.

3. What is your favorite wedding pin?

I don't have a wedding board. So instead I will  tell you my favorite party pin. I love the idea of these flower piniatas for an outdoor party or barbecue. 

4. What is your favorite DIY/ craft pin?
This is one of my most used pins. I love making monograms and adding them to graphic designs. My favorite project that i used this hack on was a design your own travel coffee mug for my sister with her monogram and favorite lilly print.

5. What is your favorite quote/ verse/ lyric pin?
I have so many favorite quotes. This is the main reason I have a weekly post to highlight my favorite quote of the week. I like the clean look of this quote and the message about perfection.

6. Share one more random pin you love.
I love this pin of the apartment layouts from famous tv shows. My favorites are Holly Golightly's and Carrie Bradshaw's.

Sunday Social: Week 91

This week's Sunday social theme is about high school and middle school.

1. Biggest Middle School fashion mistake
For about half the year in sixth grade I only wore tie-dye shirts. I had collected quite a few from summer camp and class projects. It started as a way to try something different. Then at some point I just wanted to see if anyone at school would mention it. After a while though I got bored of only wearing the same like 9 shirts to school and not wearing my other clothes to school (I still more "normal clothes on the weekend).

2. Who were your best friends in hs? Pics?
I had a small group of best friends in high school. We met when I switched schools in seventh grade and were friend from then on (still are). Most of us had PE at the same time and would rather spend our lunch period in the library. The friendship was sealed when about a month after being friends we figured out that me and two others had the same birthday.

3. What was atypical weekend like for you in high school?
In high school my weekend were very relaxed. I went to Junior Rangers on saturday mornings. Came home and slept then would watch TV or read. On Sundays I would sleep in, do my chores, homework and watch more TV. The weekends were when I would catch up on sleep. Especially during field hockey season when I was at school from ~7:30 to 8. I also was a huge homebody (still am) and loved just hanging out at home with my family.

4. Did you have any boyfriends/ girlfriends? Tell us about that
Nope.

5. Did you have any secret codes with your friends? Spill you secrets!
We had one made up inside joke. It was the shrimp thing. It was that shrimp can't swim backwards. While not funny it was connected to one time we were hanging out and laughing about something else. And we decided we need to have an inside joke.

6. If you could relive one day/ moment/ experience from middle school or high school. what would it be?
I would relive my experience working on stage crew for the musical Hair. It was my first experience working back stage and was filled with many fun times and meeting so many great people.

Sunday Social Week 72

Today I am linking up for Sunday Social again. This weeks theme is pretty random.

1. What are your favorite things to do on a lazy day?
Watch Netflix/ TV with my dogs curled up next to me and getting indian takeout.2. What is your TV guilty pleasure?
My TV guilty pleasure currently is The Fosters on ABC Family. I love seeing how all the drama unfolds and yelling at the TV when the characters do something stupid or when I think I know what will happen.

3. What is your favorite road trip music?
I love listening to audio book while on a road trip it  makes the driving go by so much faster. Though we always listen to I would walk 500 miles.4. What are your favorite magazines or books to read by the pool or laying around?
I haven't gone to a pool in forever. But my favorite thing to read while laying out in the sun is simple teen romances or forensic murder mysteries.5. What is your favorite snack?
I love Cheese it DUOZ in sharp cheddar and parmesan. 

Sunday Social Week 71

Today I am linking up for Sunday Social. This weeks theme is all about TV and Movies.

1. What is your favorite thing to watch on a girls night?
A romantic comedy. Some of my favorites are Pitch Perfect, The Holiday, and He's Just Not the into You.

2. What is your favorite thing to watch on your day off?
Being unemployed I don't really have days off. But I often set aside time to watch recent episodes of my favorite shows. Currently, Agents of SHEILD and Baby Daddy.

3. What is your favorite thing to watch when you’re sick?
I love watching the Disney Channel even though I don't recognize any of the shows it always reminds me of when I was little. I also will watch hours of House Hunters and Love It or List It on HGTV.
4. What is the last movie you saw in the theater?
I saw the Hobbit right before Christmas. But I am planning on seeing The Awkward Moment later today.

5. What are your top three favorite movies or TV shows?
My favorite TV shows are Bones, Gilmore Girls, and How I Met Your Mother.
My current favorite movies are Pitch Perfect (I have seen it at least 8 times.), Ice Princess, and The Devil Wears Prada.

The Sunday Social, Week 85

I am participating in Sunday Social again this week. This week is all about the number 3.

1. Top 3 favorite kinds of food 

Pie, Mac and cheese, Bagels

2. First 3 things you do in the morning 

Let my dogs outside, check twitter and instagram (I follow a lot of people on the east coast so there is always a ton of new content), and start the coffee maker (caffeine addict)

3. Last 3 things you do at night 

Let my dogs out for one last bathroom break, turn off all the lights, read or listen to a book (check me out on Goodreads).

4. 3 TV shows you NEVER miss 

Bones, Glee(though the new season is annoying me), and Agents of SHEILD

5. 3 places you want to visit 

London, Paris, and Yellowstone national park

6. 3 people you can always count on

My little sister and BFF Olivia, My older sister, and my mom. Family is very important to me.
